Altered Witch Hat

I was up on the My Mind's Eye blog yesterday with some Halloween Decor.  I purchased a paper mache witches hat on clearance last Halloween and couldn't wait to alter it.

I used the Frightful collection along with some CTMH Tulle and I love how it turned out!

I cut this spider out with my Silhouette and then embellished it with a brad.

It's Called Tomorrow

I am slowly getting my groove back on.  My daughter and her baby are back at their own place after being here for weeks as my daughter healed from the birth.  I have been one tired momma/grandma but have loved it.  Tonight, I loved playing in my craft room for fun!

I used the Nine & Co collection by Teresa Collins.  Lots of layers, stitching and a Silhouette cut - just the way I like them ;)  I was actually inspired by the Color Throwdown challenge but am too late to enter, phooey :)

A Trio of Halloween Cards

Halloween cards without using Halloween themed paper?!  Check out the Fancy Pants Blog - I created 3 Halloween themed cards today.

I love this one, a Silhouette cut paired with some Unity Stamps.

Happy Fall

I love rainy weekends... gives me a good excuse to stay inside and craft ;)

I used the Scrumptious Collection by Chickaniddy Crafts to create this fun fall themed card.  I love fall, can you tell :)

I really love the denim paper in the collection and I used a scrap piece of it to create a 'belt loop'.

I am playing along with Unscripted Sketches

More Fall themed cards.

I played with the True Friend collection by Fancy Pants to create another set of fall themed cards.

Of course I had to add some kraft... just says fall to me.

This one was super easy to do.  I just used one of the tags, some stickers and paper scraps.  It went together quickly.

I love cutting my titles with my Silhouette and this one is a Kerri Bradford one.

Finally, my favorite card of the bunch.  I have used one of the file folders from the collection along with some stickers and Silhouette cuts.  I always love the texture that messy stitching adds.

Non traditional fall themed cards

I am up on the My Mind's Eye Blog today with some Fall cards.  I decided on the Jubilee Sherbet and Necessities Wood to create this card set.  I like the shabbiness the woodgrain gives it.

First up a layered up card, with a bit of this and a bit of that... topped off with a couple of Silhouette cut files.  The die is from My Favorite Things.

Next up, a fun coffee themed card and of course I thought of Amy ;)  I used some stamps from Precious Remembrance, although I am not a coffee drinker, I still like making coffee themed cards!

Finally I love how this simple one turned out.  I used some of the post its from the collection along with some cut files and SRM Calendar labels, it all worked well together.

Unity Blog Hop

Welcome to the Unity Blog Hop.  I hope you have been enjoying the hop and are leaving comments along the way so that you have a chance to win one of the prize packages!

I have had very little crafty time lately so my projects have had to be quick and easy ones.  I used the October Layers of Life (love never leaves) along with the de France Labels for some quick and easy fall themed napkins.  I stamped the images with some acrylic paint on some pre laundered napkins.  I love how they turned out!  Goes well with the little dish I got while in France last spring!

Be sure to check out the new releases and the fabulous sale over at Unity after you have hopped along and visited the blogs!

A couple of cards using Notes & Things

It it Thanksgiving Weekend here in Canada and I am sure enjoying the fact that it is a rainy day and I am forced to stay inside ;)  I went and played in my craft room.  Working around the baby's schedule I don't have a lot of time so I created cards today.  Hopefully will get to a layout again soon.

I used the Notes  & Things from Crate Paper to create a couple of cards.  The colors and patterns in this collection are so pretty.

For this card I was inspired by the sketch at Sunday Stamps:

I then decided to create a 3 1/2 X 5 1/2 card as I have a lot of strips of paper left over from making regular A2 sized cards from a 12 X 12 piece of cardstock.

Homemade Smile

My last card for WCMD.  I played more today than I have in a month!  For this card I used the Homemade collection by Pebbles.  The flowers were fussy cut from some of the pattern paper.

The stamp is from Precious Remembrance.

I was inspired by the Fusion Card Challenge

A couple of Winter Themed Cards

I managed to play in my craft room again today!  I forgot what it was like having a baby around ;)

I used the Noel collection by Elle's Studio to create a couple of cards along with some Divine Twine and dots by Pebbles.

First up this card, I saved a negative scrap that I had punched out a snowflake from and I used it to create a tag.

I was inspired by this sketch from Retro Sketches:

Next up this card I created, I love layering bits and pieces.

I was inspired by this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:
